Eating and exercise have changed these last several weeks. How can you eat & move in simple ways to support your health & resilience? Tune in for the live Resilience Talk for key strategies. Use the additional classes below to help support your resiilence.

For the Kiddos 

The last part of the resilience talk will dive into support for kids and parents.

There are basic lifestyle practices that can support or deplete the immune system response to viruses and other infections. Dr. Culbert will cover some key practices that families can take to stay as healthy as possible.

Chocolate Avocado Pudding

from Carolyn Denton, MA, LN

Ingredients:

2 large, ripe avocados, peeled, pitted and cubed
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
1/3 cup coconut or other milk of choice
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 pinch ground cinnamon (optional)

Directions:
Cut open the avocado and scoop out the pit. Cut into large chunks and put into the blender.
Add the cocoa, maple/honey, vanilla, milk and cinnamon.
Blend starting on low and moving to high until smooth.
Adjust to texture and taste by adding more maple/honey or cocoa. Refrigerate until serving.

Chia Seed Pudding

from Carolyn Denton, MA, LN

Ingredients:

2 cups coconut, almond, or other milk of choice
1/2 cup chia seeds
1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)
1-2 tablespoons maple syrup (to taste)
2 teaspoons cinnamon

Directions:
Whisk ingredients together in a glass container with a lid.
Cover and place in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours to set.
